Wenner 4 Pin Method for Soil Resistivity Testing :-
The Wenner test involves placing four equally spaced and in-line electrodes into the ground. The two outer electrodes (called the current electrodes) inject current into the soil. The two inner electrodes (called the potential electrodes) measure voltage drop which is then used to calculate soil resistance.

Applications of Soil Resistivity Test :-
Soil Resistivity Test provides underground Strata Details for Safe Earthing design of the grounding system to meet ground resistance requirements.

Soil Resistivity Test using Schlumberger Method is used to make sub-surface geophysical surveys as an aid in identifying Underground water Depth and location.
